I love Fall.
I love the beauty in the colors.
I love the crispness in the air that brings cool fall breezes.
I love that this afternoon I curled up in two fleece blankets, listening to the cool rain fall outside my open window. If it had been any cooler, we would have lit a fire in the fireplace.
I love Fall.
....and admittedly, I love Winter too, but don't tell anyone!
I love dry fall days. I'm ok with the rainy fall days if it's still green outside, so it doesn't seem quite as bleak. Every morning, I drink my glass of water and look out the window at my trees and try and spot the leaves that are changing. I must admit that I'm not quite ready to see them start changing yet, though. This year has shot by far too quickly!

Me too, and it really felt like fall today. Enough so that my oldest even commented on the change, which was something, considering we're in CA and the changes are subtle.
ReplyDeleteI love the fall, too. Tailgating at football games, watching field hockey, leaving the window open and burrowing in my nice warm bed at night, and the smell of the neighbors having a bonfire. I love it.
