We are exactly one county outside of the advisory, less than 80 miles from the blizzard that closed down schools, and highways, and is presently dumping close to a foot of snow.

I have nothing but sympathy for you! Everytime the kids ask when we can get their shorts and tshirts out and ready to go, and I brace myself for that task (I hate that task!), the weatherman lets me have at least another day (or week!) when the weather changes back to cold and (please, please! no snow!) rainy again.
