Have you ever tried to get a hyper 5 year old, a 4 month old puppy and a "bored with me" 10 year old to sit still for 30 seconds to get one decent shot? I have, it wasn't pretty. This was the best one. There were many missed shots of puppy kisses and kid squirms. But patience was lost by all, so we accepted the above pose. As an anal person, I am sure I will try again today. hehehehehe
Ooh! That big, comfy armchair reminds me of mine. It's sunny over there right now...maybe I should go sit and read. Cute pics! Poor Dash looks like he's trying to get away in several of them. I can't imagine trying to wrangle 3---I have a hard enough time with Anja!

Ha! At least you got some smiles! My 10 and 6 year olds find it DELIGHTFUL to scowl at me and act like taking their picture is akin to me ripping their very soul out with a Kodak. Good times. Later, when they are grown and gone, I'll remember this era in their lives as the period I was raising potential criminals since all their photos look like mug shots.

ReplyDeleteSecond, Big D and I took 77 tries to get our Christmas picture just right and we didn't have our dogs posing with us! Sadly, I still wasn't happy with it.
Third, your son has the sweetest eyes and you daughter has a beautiful smile...but the dog...melt my heart!
